Friday Update: “Burnt” Starts with $250K on Thursday Night

The critically panned Bradley Cooper cooking drama Burnt started with a weak $250K from its Thursday night previews. That pretty much guarantees that it is set for a weekend of under $10M, and is probably set for around $6M or so.

Our Brand is Crisis wasn’t screened on Thursday, and there were no numbers reported Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. However, Scouts was screened on Thursday but has a semi-limited release. Between that and its poor release date, it will probably wind up with under $3M this weekend.
